Gilat Satcom was established in 1992 and acquired licenses from the Israeli Minister of Communications to deliver data services to customers in Israel.

In 1997, the Company established its communication support and control center in Petach Tikvah, Israel, providing a comprehensive monitoring and support facility to customers around the world, operating on a 24-hour basis.

In 2000, Gilat Satcom introduced broadband Internet services. Since that time, this product line has become a primary growth engine for the Group which has in excess of 3,000 terminals in more than 40 countries. In June 2002, the Company was acquired by Satcom Systems Ltd. whose shares are traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. In addition, In 2002, the Group commenced the supply of international VoIP voice services.

Following, in January 2003 Gilat Satcom acquired certain business assets of Israsat and obtained an International Communication License from the Ministry of Communications.  

During the first quarter of 2005 the company completed two strategic acquisitions:

GayaCom Ltd., a reseller of mobile satellite services and equipment facilitating the entry of the Group into the growing satellite mobile services market. GayaCom has non-exclusive distribution agreement with Iridium Satellite LLC to market and sell their equipment and services globally.

IP Planet Network Ltd., a broadband satellite services provider, as a result of which the Company grew and diversified its customer base and consolidated and strengthened its position in certain markets and territories.


VoIPX is a privately held facilities-based wholesale VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) trading xchange that enables buyers and sellers to safely, securely, and anonymously exchange routes and minutes in real-time.

VoIPX is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with switching facilities conveniently located at the 1950 Stemmons Freeway Infomart, where over 100 domestic and international carriers are located or connected, and software development offices in Naples, Florida, and Dnipropetrov'ka, Ukraine.

VoIPX customer base consists of Wholesale Carriers, in-country Direct  Termination Gateway Operators, Calling Card Operators, Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSP's), Call Shop Owners, CLECs and ILECS, Brokers, and other customers that benefit from our safe, secure, and automated VoIP trading xchange.

Monarch Communications is a privately owned Nigerian Company licensed to provide telecommunications services for; Private Network Links (VSAT), Service Network (Internet), Community Telephony using Microwave or Radio for Commercial Operations, Voice Mail Services, Sale and Installation of Terminals and Other Equipment, Pay Phone Services.

Mobitel was awarded a national license on the 2.3 GHz frequency in September 2010, and recommenced operations in October rolling out 4G Broadband and Voice services.

With its 4G launch in late October 2010, Mobitel became the pioneer provider of real broadband service in Nigeria with speed starting at 1MB and with capacity to hit 100Mbps for Homes and Offices. Mobitel differentiates on consistency and reliability of speed compared to the current segment leaders.
